So I didn’t just get a Beauty Blender in my September Birchbox but I also got the cleanser to clean it too! But then that would’ve been pretty stupid not to chuck this in as well otherwise everyone’s Beauty Blenders wouldn’t last long, at all.
The Low Down: So anyway getting on with it, you have to clean your Beauty Blender after every time you use it (you can’t wait about a week like beauty brushes unfortunately.) There’s a liquid cleanser and a solid (soap) cleanser – I got the solid one.
Instructions: Again wet your Beauty Blender under a tap, like you do before you use it, but also wet the Beauty Cleanser solid too. You can use the solid like a soap and rub it against the foundation stained Beauty Blender, although a more effective way is to massage the foundation of the sponge, the video below shows exactly what I mean.
After that, squeeze the Beauty Blender to let out all the water and leave to air dry! And that’s it.
The good: It’s pretty easy.
The bad: You don’t have to necessarily clean a brush every time you use it, however with Beauty Blender you do.
I clean my beauty brushes with shampoo, I don’t have to buy a specific cleanser to clean them, however with Beauty Blender you do.
